The McGinty Family

Patrick and Ellen are full-time missionaries to Japan. They are passionate to see Japanese people know the love of Christ. Before they first met many years ago in a prayer meeting on the Texas A&M campus, they both felt a strong call to the Japanese people. Patrick grew up as a missionary kid over the course of 18 years (speaks fluent Japanese), and Ellen served in Japan in short-term missions. They have been serving in the city of Yokohama, Japan for over 6 years now.

Currently, Patrick serves as the lead pastor of Cross Community Church Yokohama, which they planted in December 2021. Patrick and Ellen also assist with a startup Christian school named Zoe International started in 2021 where Patrick serves as a board member. They have 3 amazing boys.
